The Money…
*Kick Soccer Goals
*Shoot Basketball Free throws
*Hit a baseball or softball off a tee
*Shoot Archery Target
*Shoot Hockey Goals
*Throw a Football at a target (tire)
*Run laps at a local stadium, or miles thru community
*Swim laps at a local pool
*Use your imagination !!!!
Do the math …
Example: Kick 200 soccer goals for 1 hour (aver. appx. 3.5 kicks per minute)
200 X .10 per goal X 20 donors = 400.00
Get a friend or brother or sister to join them – double or triple that amount
Step #1 Choose a Cause that has caught your attention
Step #2 Figure out what you can do well … “over and over” again
Step#3 Talk to your parents and Children’s Leader at church or Scouts
Step#4 Figure out how you can bring awareness and raise money.
Then…
Step#5 Pick a date for the event
Step#6 Get the word out – Flyer, letter, email to family and friends.
*Big Idea : Get your church to do a 30 second interview about why you are doing this and how the people in your church can support you.
Step #7 Collect Sponsors (usually between .05-.20 per goal (tell them how many you think you will accomplish)
Step#8 Do the event, usually done in a community place with real original equipment (ask your local school, sports league, or Rec. Dept. to help with this)
Step#9 Collect Sponsorships from those who said they would support
Step #10 Send $$$ to the organization with a letter telling them what and how you raised the awareness and money. They will be amazed and encouraged !!!\
Next year do it again, and get some friends to join you !!!!!!!!!

2. Bake Sale- Make some tasty treats with an adult and sell them.
3. Special Dinner- Prepare a dinner event for a set fee per person.
5. Bracelets- Make and sell bracelets using a countries’ flag colors.
6. Candy Packet- Make and sell candy gift bags with awareness info inside.
7. Awareness Day – Wear ribbons to raise awareness and discuss why.
8. Change containers /Change for lunch- Collect loose change and get a food organization involved to reward the donors with a free lunch (see what In N Out offers).
9. Recycle- Collect recycling for a month and turn it in for cash.
10. Car Wash- Make washing cars a group event for a cause.
